Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be registered to book?
No. You can book a pay-as-you-go appointment without any registration. If you’d like ongoing care, we recommend joining one of our membership plans for priority booking and included consultations.
Will using Basuto affect my NHS registration?
No. Your NHS registration is completely unaffected. Many of our patients use both — Basuto for responsive same-day care, and the NHS for hospital referrals.
How long are appointments?
Every consultation is 30 minutes as standard — face-to-face at our Parsons Green clinic or via secure video link.
Can I see the same doctor each time?
Yes. Membership patients are assigned a named GP for continuity of care. Pay-as-you-go patients can also request a specific doctor when booking.
What does a consultation cost?
A single pay-as-you-go consultation is £150 for 30 minutes and includes prescriptions, referral letters, and clinical notes. Membership plans start from £30/month for discounted appointments, or £85/month for 10 included appointments per year.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We offer paediatric GP care for under-16s. Our Under-16 membership is £55/month and includes 10 appointments per year with a GP experienced in children’s health.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Members get priority same-day and next-day appointments. Pay-as-you-go patients are typically seen within the same week. Call before 10am for the best same-day availability.
