Clinical Background
I qualified at University College London in 2008 and completed my GP training at St George’s Hospital in 2016. I hold the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, reflecting my longstanding interest in women’s health.
Women’s health is an area where having a GP who listens properly and takes symptoms seriously makes an enormous difference. I see patients for the full spectrum of gynaecological and reproductive health concerns — from contraception and menstrual problems through to menopause management and fertility investigations.
Alongside my clinical work, I teach medical students from St George’s Hospital and work as an NHS Appraiser. Teaching keeps me current with the latest evidence and best practice, and it reinforces my belief that good medicine starts with good communication.
At Basuto, I value the time we have with each patient. A 20-30 minute consultation allows me to listen to the full picture, examine properly, and make sure the patient leaves with a clear plan — not just a prescription.
